Tasks

  • Responsible for architecting Data & AI solutions on cloud and/or on-premises
  • Creating the requirements analysis, the platform selection, design of the technical architecture, design of the application design and development, testing, and deployment of the proposed solutions
  • Implement security, encryption best practices for Data & AI environments
  • Assist analytical and engineering teams in the design and implementation of high performance systems with large volume data integration processes, storage, processing and provisioning
  • Technical Pre-Sales support
  • Organize and manage complex customer projects with agile methods (scrum master and project leader)
Requirements

  • Degree in Computer science or equivalent
  • Valid working permit
  • Hands-on experience with data & AI applications (e.g. Hadoop stack, Kafka, Databricks, Azure Synapse, GCP AutoML, etc.)
  • Firm understanding of major programming/scripting languages like Java, Linux, Python, Scala
  • Experience in designing solutions for large data warehouses with a good understanding of clusters and parallel architecture as well as high-scale or distributed RDBMS and/or knowledge on NoSQL platforms
  • Experience with public cloud stacks: Azure, AWS, GCP
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong command of German and English
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, be comfortable with changing priorities and tight deadlines, managing your own workload with minimum supervision

  • Strong understanding of agile work frameworks such as SCRUM and/or SAFe
  • Strong team member skills and capable of solving complex problems in a team approach
  • Strong teaching and coaching skills
  • Understanding of machine learning theory and practice
  • Knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
  • Experience with data catalogue, data governance and data lineage practices and tools
